He decided to pursue a career in eye care after being diagnosed with two retinal tears, a potentially sight-threatening condition. Fortunately the problem was diagnosed and corrected before it had any affect on vision. Dr. Schneider owes the vision in his left eye to his family optometrist who was careful and thorough in his examination. Dr. Schneider is committed to giving his patients the same thoughtful and comprehensive care he is so grateful to have received. He completed his undergrad studies at Brigham Young University with a B.S. in Nutritional Science, optometry training at Pacific University Oregon and completed his residency at Salt Lake City VA Medical Center.
